^^ me too fast jehu , I never ever thought of it so succinctly before.
(Cool name btw. O pencil sharp is an awesome song. If your name isn't linked to a band then that will mean less than nothing to you!!))
i joined this site 12 years ago and i revisited it yesterday to get some information on coc's status.. .
frankly saying, i've tried to be a complete ex-ex-jw so that ex-jw things would not drive my life mad.
due to my linguistic barrier of writing in a foreign language, 12 years ago, i could not but read and read and read this site.

There's a Peter Gabriel song that goes well with this.
I don't remember
I don't recall
I got no memory
Of anything at all.
defender of truth....thank you so much for putting me in touch with a very good expert...we are in touch and she is helping enormously.. don't you dare disappear from this forum...you are the same as all of us...and we all get upset at the things we see as cruel or unjust.
you were very very helpful to me.
all of you were lovely and i am very content inside to know i can speak my mind.
been sitting on this for a few days, confining my anger, to an area where i can control it.. two indian sisters to be raped as 'punishment' after brother eloped.
two sisters in india - one aged only 15 years - are to be raped as "punishment" for their brother running away with a married woman from a higher caste in the latest case to shock the country.meenakshi kumari, who is 23, and her younger sister, will then be paraded naked with their faces blackened through the streets, according to a ruling from the all-male village council.. the family are from the dalit caste, historically known as "untouchables".
however, the brother fell in love with a woman from the higher, jat, caste.
so you all know that i go with my wife to the meeting to protect the kids from the drival and pacify her.
tonight we are sitting there and she points to mathew and says something about the faithful and discreet slave and she said eplain this.
so breaking away from what i was reading in the meeting..." in search of christian freedom by franz"...i said.
You reasoned well. Logical, scriptural, calmly (I hope).
You can do no more than that. Allow it to sink in. Be patient, hopefully she'll eventually realise that you may well have a point..
this may sound insane but i literally have blood on my hands as i have just come home from a counselling session that went wrong...i wanted to collate all that has happened and record it...hospital policy is against it.
i said "what am i alive for then if not to tell the truth" she tut tutted and i walked out sadly in despair.. when i got to the ground floor there was a young girl screaming her head off.
she was afraid, that is all she was...........afraid.

Je suis oisif - we had Philip white a while back. We thought he was quite hitlerish with his knee length leather trench coat, leather gloves and in his 'my way or the highway' attitude. How did he help wake you up?
Sorry for hijacking the thread super ted, welcome BTW!
one of my favourite youtubers, winston from jamaca (watchtower examination) has provided some feedback from jacko's testimony at the victorian royal commission.
he examines only part of the testimony and brings up some interesting points.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-xzivv0q8s.
Well done Winston, and well done listener for summarising it so well.
It may be long winded, but it's a treasure trove of quotes if the subject ever comes up.
